You might not think to visit a library while travelling around Ireland, but The Library of Trinity College in Dublin is not an ordinary place. Built between 1712 and 1732, with expansions made in the 1850s to make room for more books,The chamber is almost 65 meters (213ft) long and contains over 200,000 books. You may ask yourself : "Why so many books? It's because back in 1801 the library was given the right to claim a free copy of every book published in Britain and Ireland.
