It's kind of creepy but totally cool and very few people actually get the chance to experience it. If you go for a swim off the coast of Krabi, Thailand you just might find yourself surrounded by circles of blue light. You must be wondering why? The reason is bio-luminescent phytoplanktons. They surround swimmers and create a halo of blue light. This remarkable experience was captured by Will Strathmann, Your Shot member, who describes it as " Imagine swimming through the ocean as thousands of microscopic plankton light up at your finger tips, flickering blue as you move through the water... this is magical moment ... Sometimes you get lucky and stumble upon an experience that truly rocks your world..." The the photograph was pronounced "a Photo of the Day" by National Geographic.
